Promotional Plan

In this portion of my Six Month Buying Plan for Hermés, I developed a promotional plan which is extremely important part of any retail operation.

In a real-life situation, the buying team works with promotion team to plan a promotional strategy for the season in order to generate sales, enhance image, and encourage repeat business. Working within a promotional budget, the buying team will work with media representatives to develop advertisements through the media outlet. Working with these representatives, the buying team will make sure that Hermès's product is shown in its best light and in a way that will make it desirable to the target customer.
